in the game i have chosen knight type armor and have designed a few concepts with the intending of choosing a final piece to work from

here I tried to create some sort of infernal armor design

here I pulled it back to knight armor 

trying a different color and adding new pauldron designs

Its is important to know what color palette you are going to use for the various creatures in the game as that will help determine the different factions of what or who they  belong too

the basic color wheel can easily give you an idea of contrasting colors you can use
